Au cas o\u00f9 vous ne le sauriez pas ou ne vous en souviendriez pas, un d\u00e9riv\u00e9 financier est un contrat mon\u00e9taire (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pour un investissement) qui tire sa valeur d'une entit\u00e9 sous-jacente, comme des actifs, des indices, des taux d'int\u00e9r\u00eat ou autres. Dans notre cas, les crypto-d\u00e9riv\u00e9s d\u00e9terminent leur valeur en fonction des performances des crypto-actifs s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plusieurs soci\u00e9t\u00e9s proposent ce service aux investisseurs particuliers du monde entier, sous la forme de contrats sur diff\u00e9rence (CFD), d'options, de futures et de billets n\u00e9goci\u00e9s en bourse (ETN). Cependant, le Autorit\u00e9 de conduite financi\u00e8re<\/a> (FCA) du Royaume-Uni ne consid\u00e8re pas comme s\u00fbrs ces types d'instruments. Ainsi, ils ont simplement d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d'interdire ces activit\u00e9s (au moins pour les clients de d\u00e9tail) \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur du pays.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le Royaume-Uni n'a, \u00e0 ce jour, aucun cadre r\u00e9glementaire<\/a> pour les crypto-monnaies, mais il y a certaines r\u00e8gles que tout le monde devrait suivre, surtout si elles proviennent d'une entreprise. \u00c0 propos de cette r\u00e9cente annonce, Sheldon Mills, directeur ex\u00e9cutif par int\u00e9rim de la strat\u00e9gie et de la concurrence \u00e0 la FCA, a comment\u00e9:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abCette interdiction refl\u00e8te \u00e0 quel point nous consid\u00e9rons s\u00e9rieusement les dommages potentiels pour les consommateurs de d\u00e9tail dans ces produits. La protection des consommateurs est ici primordiale. La volatilit\u00e9 significative des prix, combin\u00e9e aux difficult\u00e9s inh\u00e9rentes \u00e0 l'\u00e9valuation fiable des crypto-actifs, expose les consommateurs au d\u00e9tail \u00e0 un risque \u00e9lev\u00e9 de subir des pertes en \u00e9changeant des crypto-d\u00e9riv\u00e9s. Nous avons des preuves que cela se produit \u00e0 une \u00e9chelle significative. L'interdiction offre un niveau de protection appropri\u00e9 \u00bb.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Puisque l'interdiction semble provenir du peu de connaissances clients de d\u00e9tail<\/a> peut avoir, ce serait potentiellement temporaire, jusqu'\u00e0 ce que l'\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me soit plus avanc\u00e9 et compris. Les produits d\u00e9riv\u00e9s sont sp\u00e9cifiquement un outil financier propos\u00e9 par des entreprises qui devraient \u00eatre soumis aux r\u00e9glementations les plus strictes car il pourrait y avoir de fortes d\u00e9ceptions et arnaques autour de ces instruments. Cependant, les crypto-monnaies en soi sont une autre histoire. Ils peuvent pr\u00e9senter certains risques<\/a>, mais ils sont \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s utiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comme nous le savons peut-\u00eatre \u00e0 ce jour, la plupart des crypto-monnaies<\/a> existant sont d\u00e9centralis\u00e9s, ce qui signifie ils sont libres du contr\u00f4le de toute institution et presque tout le monde peut y acc\u00e9der sans barri\u00e8res<\/strong>. Ainsi, m\u00eame si un pays subit certaines restrictions, ses citoyens pourront toujours utiliser certains cryptos et plates-formes associ\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce n'est cependant pas le cas de l'Angleterre et de tout le Royaume-Uni. En effet, ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s ouverts et flexibles avec les crypto-monnaies dans leurs lois, il est donc toujours parfaitement l\u00e9gal d'acheter et de vendre des crypto-monnaies directement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
