Sist 22. desember kl. US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) avsl\u00f8rte en s\u00f8ksm\u00e5l mot Ripple Labs<\/strong> og to av sine viktigste ledere for angivelig \u00e5 ha laget et \u201c$1.3 milliarder uregistrert verdipapirtilbud\u201d med XRP. S\u00e5 de vurderer n\u00e5 dette token som en sikkerhet i stedet for en valuta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De mest alvorlige konsekvensene er sannsynligvis enn\u00e5 ikke kommet, men XRP-prisen har mistet<\/a> rundt 60% s\u00e5 langt, og verre. Flere b\u00f8rser og kryptoselskaper har bestemt seg for \u00e5 fjerne dette token fra plattformene sine p\u00e5 grunn av SEC-kunngj\u00f8ringen. Det er fordi s\u00f8ksm\u00e5let kan ber\u00f8re eksterne deler i USA hvis de handler kommersielt med XRP<\/strong> (erkl\u00e6rt for n\u00e5 ulovlig sikkerhet der).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e5, selskaper som<\/a> Bitwise, Crypto.com, OSL, CrossTower, Beaxy, Simplex, Bitstamp og Coinbase har besluttet \u00e5 stoppe XRP-handel p\u00e5 sine plattformer enten for sine amerikanske kunder eller for dem alle, inntil videre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tatt i betraktning den delikate situasjonen rundt Ripple Labs og XRP i forente stater<\/a>, har vi ogs\u00e5 besluttet \u00e5 stanse XRP-handelen p\u00e5 Alfacash for innbyggere i USA. Handelen blir fullstendig suspendert mandag 11. januar 2021 klokken 06 UTC og inntil videre. <\/strong>I mellomtiden kan de europeiske XRP-brukerne (og brukere fra andre land) fortsatt handle med det, siden s\u00f8ksm\u00e5let bare ber\u00f8rer den amerikanske jurisdiksjonen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hva er neste for Ripple og XRP?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Er dette slutten p\u00e5 Ripple og XRP<\/a>? Det er det sannsynligvis ikke. Som de tidligere har antydet, er knapt 5% av brukerbasen USAs innbyggere, og de forbereder seg p\u00e5 \u00e5 forlate landet om n\u00f8dvendig, men ikke uten \u00e5 sl\u00e5 tilbake.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I \u00e5tte \u00e5r har vi bygget produkter som hjelper hundrevis av kunder med \u00e5 l\u00f8se smertepunkter rundt globale betalinger - vi vil forsvare selskapet v\u00e5rt og ser frem til \u00e5 avgj\u00f8re saken i retten for endelig \u00e5 f\u00e5 klarhet i den amerikanske kryptoindustrien \u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Dessuten sa den siste SEC-presidenten, Jay Clayton (kjent for sin skepsis mot kryptoverdenen), avskjed rett etter at han signerte s\u00f8ksm\u00e5let mot Ripple. Ledigheten<\/a> blir midlertidig arvet av Elad Roisman, som har vist seg mer vennlig om kryptovalutaer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dette er et enormt slag for Ripple og XRP, selvf\u00f8lgelig. Det er imidlertid lite sannsynlig at en av de mest verdsatte kryptovalutaene kan bli tatt ned s\u00e5 lett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
