Kryptovaluta produserer forurensning og bidrar til klimaendringer?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nylig, <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2021\/05\/13\/tesla-rejects-bitcoin-environmental-concerns-its-right\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tesla stoppet<\/a> aksepterer Bitcoin (BTC) betalinger <strong>for \u00e5 vurdere det som &quot;en stor kostnad for milj\u00f8et&quot;.<\/strong> Hvordan kan dette v\u00e6re? Andre systemer, som Proof-of-Stake (PoS), har ikke dette gruveproblemet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hvilke kryptoer produserer forurensning, og hvilke gj\u00f8r ikke det?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Det er et komplisert svar. I f\u00f8lge Cambridge Bitcoin str\u00f8mforbruk (<a href=\"https:\/\/cbeci.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">CBEI<\/a>), Forbruker Bitcoin rundt 148 TWh \u00e5rlig, noe som er mer enn Sverige, Ukraina eller Nederland. I tillegg, forrige m\u00e5ned, firmaet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trgdatacenters.com\/most-environment-friendly-cryptocurrencies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">TRG Datacenters<\/a> beregnet antall kWh forbrukt per transaksjon i forskjellige kryptovalutaer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Som vi f\u00e5r se senere, har energiforbruk mye \u00e5 gj\u00f8re med forurensning og klimaendringer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hvor kommer det fra energien til \u00e5 utvinne kryptoer?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Som vi nevnte tidligere, velger gruvearbeiderne billigere fornybare kilder. Firmaet <a href=\"https:\/\/coinshares.com\/assets\/resources\/Research\/bitcoin-mining-network-june-2019-fidelity-foreword.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">CoinShares<\/a> beregnet det&nbsp;<strong>over 74% av Bitcoin gruvedrift bruker fornybare energikilder, som vannkraft, sol og geotermisk<\/strong>. P\u00e5 den annen side sier CBEI at 65% av Bitcoin-gruvedrift den har laget i Kina. I dette landet utgjorde kull 56,8% innenlandsk energiproduksjon i 2020 [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/04\/29\/climate-china-has-no-other-choice-but-to-rely-on-coal-power-for-now.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">CNBC<\/a>]. Og det er d\u00e5rlige nyheter for kryptokurver og forurensning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likevel er det alternative teorier. Hvorfor forlater ikke PoW-mynter dette systemet og erstatter det med PoS? Vel, det er ikke s\u00e5 lett.
