Lately, the Yield Farming from the DeFi ecosystem became a great way to make some juicy earnings\u2026 if you know how to. Now, according to a recent survey made by the firm CoinGecko, er werd onthuld dat ten minste 93% van de ondervraagde opbrengstboeren positieve ROI's hebben gerapporteerd, zelfs meer dan 500%.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

58% van de boeren heeft ge\u00efnvesteerd in niet-gecontroleerde en risicovolle protocollen<\/strong>, 40% can\u2019t read smart contracts and 33% don\u2019t know what impermanent loss is in de liquiditeitsmijnbouw<\/a>.  Just in case: basically, the impermanent loss means that your tokens can lose value while they\u2019re locked inside a DeFi protocol, providing the liquidity needed to cultivate rewards. This loss might be temporal or permanent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aan de andere kant hebben 52% boeren minder dan 1.000 USD ge\u00efnvesteerd in hun landbouw, hoewel degenen die meer investeren, zeker nog meer zullen verdienen (of verliezen). In elk geval, ze kunnen uiteindelijk meer dan 100 USD per dag betalen voor transactiekosten op Ethereum<\/strong>, als de tokens werken in die blockchain<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enkele waarschuwingen zijn aan te raden<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Despite everything, the farmers have also taken certain precautions. The entire process isn\u2019t free of risks though, but the total opposite. Besides, the high gas fees could become a threat to these protocols, despite they seem to be here to stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur opinion is that the high yield pools are not sustainable, but yield farming products are here to stay. It is now apparent that the yield farming pools introduced by Uniswap recently on 17th September have solidified the yield farming frenzy. Indeed, it is no longer merely a frenzy but has now matured significantly.  However, until the high gas fee is solved, it is unlikely that retail users can enter farming without hurting their capital, and this is not taking into account other associated risks such as impermanent loss\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s worth mentioning that the first phase for Ethereum 2.0 gaat worden vrijgegeven<\/a> in de komende weken. Misschien moet dat een echte evolutie worden voor DeFi-protocollen.
