Dit nieuwe jaar bracht niet minder scepsis over cryptocurrencies voor de Russische regering. Toch zijn ze voor de meeste mensen in het land niet verboden, maar wel voor de ambtenaren vanaf 1 april 2021. Het is deze functionarissen verboden enige vorm van cryptocurrency te bezitten, <\/strong>en ze moeten hun bezit v\u00f3\u00f3r de aangegeven datum laten vallen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens de aankondigingsbrief<\/a> door het Russische Ministerie van Arbeid, de mensen die staats- of dienstfuncties bekleden, inclusief werknemers van hun centrale bank en \u201cbepaalde soorten organisaties\u201d, zijn verboden<\/a> van het bezit van digitale activa en, in het algemeen, ook elke vorm van vreemde valuta. Zelfs de echtgenoten en minderjarige kinderen van deze ambtenaren mogen ze zelfs niet bezitten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPersonen die in [de kennisgeving] worden genoemd, mogen geen digitale valuta bezitten en gebruiken, ongeacht het land van uitgifte, inclusief digitale valuta die is uitgegeven met behulp van domeinnamen en netwerkadressen die zich in de Russische nationale domeinzone bevinden, en (of) informatiesystemen , waarvan de technische middelen zich op het grondgebied van de Russische Federatie bevinden, en (of) software- en hardwarecomplexen op het grondgebied van de Russische Federatie\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Het lijkt er echter niet op verplicht om aan te geven<\/a> de digitale activa die het afgelopen jaar zijn verworven, alleen de activa die in 2021 zijn gekocht. Ze moedigen de ambtenaren echter aan om hun ambtstermijn kwijt te raken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De straf voor niet-aangegeven activa of het enige bezit van cryptocurrencies is nog niet gespecificeerd,<\/strong> maar het is vermeldenswaard dat het Russische ministerie van Financi\u00ebn heeft gesuggereerd<\/a> het straffen van de eigenaren van niet-aangegeven crypto-wallets met meer dan 1 miljoen roebel (ongeveer $13.000), met boetes tot 30% van hun crypto en zelfs 3 jaar gevangenisstraf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ondanks de maatregel voor de ambtenaren, de gewone burgers<\/a> zijn nog niet zo erg getroffen. Eigenlijk, na een aantal maanden zonder specifieke redenen in het land te zijn verbannen, is het Binance-platform nu officieel opgeheven<\/a> opnieuw. Maar dat was alleen omdat het bedrijf klaagde over de plotselinge beslissing van de rechtbank, niet precies omdat ze het voor zichzelf hadden besloten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
