Na het bereiken van een All-Time-High (ATH) van meer dan $58.000 per munt, kreeg Bitcoin (BTC) te maken met een uitgesproken correctie waardoor de prijs met meer dan 20% daalde. De redenen zijn niet erg duidelijk, maar de investeerders die winst nemen, zijn een goede gok. In de tussentijd, Cardano (ADA) heeft deze zaterdag een nieuw record weten te behalen, met meer dan $1.48 per munt<\/strong>. Dit is de eerste ATH voor Cardano sinds 2018, in tegenstelling tot Bitcoin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bovendien is Cardano nu de derde cryptocurrency op basis van marktkapitalisatie. Op deze manier overtreft het andere al lang bestaande altcoins zoals Tether (USDT), XRP<\/a>, Litecoin (LTC) en Chainlink (LINK). Het goede nieuws is mogelijk te wijten aan de laatste update genaamd "Mary", gepland voor 1 maart. Mary zal de creatie van native tokens en ondersteuning voor meerdere activa mogelijk maken. Dat omvat stabiele munten, DeFi-middelen<\/a>, en non-fungible tokens (NFT's).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iets opmerkelijks aan deze ondersteuning is: dat de gebruikers geen kosten hoeven te betalen aan het netwerk<\/strong> voor slimme contracten<\/a>. Als de firma IOHK beschreven<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOntwikkelaars, bedrijven en applicaties kunnen tokens voor algemene doeleinden (fungible) of gespecialiseerde (niet-fungible) tokens maken om commerci\u00eble of zakelijke doelstellingen te bereiken [\u2026] Omdat native tokens geen slimme contracten vereisen om hun waarde over te dragen, kunnen gebruikers , hun tokens ontvangen en branden zonder de transactiekosten te betalen die vereist zijn voor een slim contract of zonder logica voor het afhandelen van gebeurtenissen toe te voegen om transacties bij te houden\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Genoemd kenmerk kan zeer actueel zijn, aangezien de vergoedingen op Ethereum<\/a> (Cardano's belangrijkste concurrent) zijn hoger dan ooit. De gebruikers verwelkomden de update door de prijs van ADA de afgelopen maand met meer dan 335% te verhogen<\/strong>. Zal Bitcoin Cardano volgen?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Voorlopig zit Bitcoin ongetwijfeld midden in een dip. Maar dat betekent niet dat het de rest van het jaar zo zal zijn. Inderdaad, volgens de analist Willy Woo<\/a>, is de hele crash mogelijk veroorzaakt door onbetrouwbare gegevens. Hij verwijst naar de informatie gedeeld door het analysebedrijf Glassnode, waarin een enorme transactie van 40.000 BTC een verkoopkoorts suggereerde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wereldwijde investeerders en handelaren zijn mogelijk be\u00efnvloed door deze gegevens en zouden ook zijn gaan verkopen. Dit, ook al was de aanvankelijke conclusie een vergissing. De enorme transactie was geen grote liquidatie, maar alleen een interne overdracht in de uitwisseling Gemini<\/strong>. Rafael Schultze-Kraft, CTO bij Glassnode, bevestigde deze gegevens aan Woo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Misschien is dat de reden waarom de investeringsmaatschappij Stone Ridge gewoon... besloten<\/a> om de dip te kopen om hun portefeuille te diversifi\u00ebren. Trouwens, volgens de website Bitcoin Treasuries<\/a>, overtroffen de institutionele investeringen in Bitcoin nu in totaal $44b. Bedrijven houden van Tesla<\/a>, Square, MicroStrategy, Grayscale en Bitwise vallen onder deze sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het lijkt er dus op dat Bitcoin nog een aantal mooie perspectieven voor de boeg heeft<\/strong>. Om nog maar te zwijgen over de adoptie van Mastercard en BNY Mellon<\/a> te. De huidige prijsdaling kan tijdelijk zijn, zoals het was na<\/a> de laatste ATH in januari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
