Veel investeerders, ontwikkelaars en Dapps-gebruikers ontmoeten elkaar daar elke dag. Maar technisch gezien is deze blockchain nog niet in zijn definitieve vorm; &quot;volledig&quot; klaar om duizenden gebruikers wereldwijd te accepteren. Nu is het echter dichterbij dan ooit. Het ontwikkelaarsteam <strong>Matter Labs heeft hun alfaversie van de zogenaamde &quot;rollups&quot; gelanceerd op een Ethereum-testnet<\/strong>, om het sneller en goedkoper te maken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om preciezer te zijn, volgens a <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/matter-labs\/zkporter-a-breakthrough-in-l2-scaling-ed5e48842fbf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">vorig verslag<\/a>, kunnen de rollups zkSync 2.0 het netwerk opvoeren tot 20.000+ transacties per seconde (TPS). Dat is bijna de Visa-snelheid, die wordt berekend in 24.000+ TPS. Dit alles, tegen de huidige snelheid: amper 15 TPS, en dat is niet alles. Zoals ze aangaven in de <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/matter-labs\/zksync-2-0-hello-ethereum-ca48588de179\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">recente aankondiging<\/a>, zodra de rollups worden gecombineerd met de verbeteringen die gepland zijn voor Ethereum 2.0 tegen 2022, zal de snelheid meer dan 100.000 TPS bereiken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cDe huidige consensus is dat Eth2-datasharding tegen het einde van 2022 zal aankomen om een exponentieel grotere databeschikbaarheidslaag te bieden zonder decentralisatie op te offeren. De zkRollup-technologie van zkSync in combinatie met Eth2-datasharding is het eindspel, met 100.000+ TPS zonder opofferingen.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Meestal zoals het klinkt, de rollups in <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2020\/08\/30\/dummies-what-is-blockchain-how-it-works\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">blockchain<\/a> zijn een systeem waarin talrijke transacties samenkomen om er slechts \u00e9\u00e9n te cre\u00ebren. <strong>Deze wordt uitgevoerd buiten laag 1 (het mainnet) om congestie, vertragingen en hoge kosten te voorkomen<\/strong>. Voorlopig test Matter Labs deze functie op Rinkeby (een testnet). Het zal rond augustus 2021 op het mainnet aankomen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Roll-ups en <strong>&quot;Ethereum verslaat BTC als waardeopslag&quot;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dit is in ieder geval een van de secties in de laatste <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goldmansachs.com\/insights\/pages\/crypto-a-new-asset-class-f\/report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">onderzoeksrapport<\/a> door de investeringsbank <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2020\/08\/20\/celebrities-important-leaders-against-bitcoin-why-hate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">JP Morgan<\/a>. Ze wezen erop dat de meeste Dapps, <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2020\/12\/06\/stablecoins-and-types-an-easy-and-brief-lesson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stabiele munten<\/a>, DeFi-projecten, <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2021\/04\/11\/what-are-non-fungible-tokens-nfts-why-fever-ultimate-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">en NFT&#039;s<\/a> zijn gebaseerd op Ethereum. <strong>Daarom kan de ETH-prijs in de nabije toekomst erg hoog zijn<\/strong>, en zelfs Bitcoin (BTC) overtreffen als waardeopslag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cHet grotere aantal transacties in ether versus bitcoin weerspiegelt deze dominantie. Naarmate het gebruik van cryptocurrency in DeFi en NFT&#039;s wijdverbreid wordt, zal ether zijn eigen first-mover-voordeel opbouwen in toegepaste crypto-technologie. Ethereum kan ook worden gebruikt om bijna alle informatie veilig en priv\u00e9 op te slaan in een gedecentraliseerd grootboek. En deze informatie kan worden getokeniseerd en verhandeld. Dit betekent dat het Ethereum-platform de potentie heeft om een grote markt voor betrouwbare informatie te worden.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Dit is natuurlijk alleen mogelijk wanneer Ethereum klaar is om een enorm aantal gebruikers te accepteren (inclusief rollups en alles).
