Weinig praktijken rond crypto zijn daar volledig verboden. Dit kan de komende jaren echter gedeeltelijk veranderen. Nu de <strong>Europese Commissie overweegt niet-ge\u00efdentificeerde cryptowallets en aanverwante transacties te verbieden.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens een <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/eu-tighten-rules-cryptoasset-transfers-143121027.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">verslag door Reuters<\/a>, hebben enkele Europese beleidsmakers dinsdag een wet voorgesteld om de &quot;reisregel&quot; op cryptotransacties toe te passen. Evenzo moet de klant de ontvanger(s) van hun transacties identificeren. De serviceprovider van de ontvanger moet op dezelfde gegevens controleren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dus eigenlijk probeert Europa te verbieden <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2021\/03\/29\/discover-monero-how-use-it-full-privacy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">anoniem<\/a> crypto-wallets om de transacties volledig traceerbaar te maken. Zoals beschreven in de offici\u00eble verklaring:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cDe wijzigingen van vandaag zullen zorgen voor volledige traceerbaarheid van crypto-activaoverdrachten, zoals bitcoin, en zullen het mogelijk maken om het mogelijke gebruik ervan voor het witwassen van geld of terrorismefinanciering te voorkomen en op te sporen (\u2026) Deze voorstellen zijn ontworpen om het juiste evenwicht te vinden tussen het aanpakken van deze bedreigingen en het naleven van internationale normen zonder buitensporige regeldruk voor de industrie te cre\u00ebren.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Voor nu, <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2021\/04\/16\/overview-cryptocurrency-regulations-continent-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">de genoemde wet<\/a> is verre van goedgekeurd. Het moet eerst door het Europees Parlement en de lidstaten, <strong>wat een paar jaar kan duren.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Privacy en crypto-wallets in Europa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Het idee kwam echter niet van de Europese Commissie. Enkele maanden geleden heeft de Financial Action Task Force (FATF) in een voorlopige update van hun nieuwe aanbevolen beleid <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2021\/04\/05\/fatf-against-non-custodial-privacy-providers-crypto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">geadviseerd<\/a> haar lidstaten om dit te doen. Ze hadden echter <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2021\/07\/03\/what-happened-june-cryptocurrency-world\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">uitstellen<\/a> hun laatste gids voor oktober. De straffen voor niet-naleving zijn extreem en het verzamelen van massale gegevens zou de persoonlijke privacy en grondwettelijke rechten vernietigen tegen ongeoorloofd toezicht.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Inderdaad, volgens het analysebedrijf <a href=\"https:\/\/ciphertrace.com\/cryptocurrency-crime-and-anti-money-laundering-report-may-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">CipherTrace<\/a>, <strong>slechts 1% van de Bitcoin-transacties zijn &quot;risicovol&quot; (in criminele zin)<\/strong>. En slechts 0,1% van de verhandelde Bitcoin-waarde is &quot;risicovol&quot;. Trouwens, Bitcoin, <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2020\/11\/14\/ethereum-2-new-features-prices-more-ethereum-chains\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ethereum<\/a>, en veel andere cryptocurrencies zijn helemaal niet anoniem. Elke transactie kan al traceerbaar zijn binnen hun blockchains. Daarom lijkt deze drastische maatregel in Europa onterecht.
