Voor een kant, <strong>China heeft eindelijk een volledig verbod ingevoerd op Bitcoin, crypto&#039;s en aanverwante activiteiten. <\/strong>Aan de andere kant heeft Twitter, een van de grootste sociale media ter wereld, zojuist Bitcoin geadopteerd als betaalmethode voor zijn fooifunctionaliteit. En het is ook van plan om binnenkort Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT&#039;s) te integreren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De nieuwe wettelijke maatregelen tegen Bitcoin en cryptocurrencies werden deze vrijdag gedeeld door de People&#039;s Bank of China (hun centrale bank). <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2021\/03\/11\/top-countries-most-crypto-users-laws\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">De Aziatische reus<\/a> was nooit dol op de crypto-industrie, maar is er nu helemaal tegen. Volgens <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbc.gov.cn\/goutongjiaoliu\/113456\/113469\/4348521\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">de aankondiging<\/a>, virtuele valuta en gerelateerde activiteiten (zoals handel, mijnbouw of diensten) zijn officieel illegaal in het land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cVirtuele valuta heeft niet dezelfde juridische status als legale valuta. Virtuele valuta zoals Bitcoin, Ether en TEDA (\u2026) zijn niet legaal en mogen en mogen niet als valuta op de markt worden gebruikt (\u2026) Virtuele valutagerelateerde zakelijke activiteiten zijn illegale financi\u00eble activiteiten.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Deze activiteiten omvatten uitwisselingen, financiering (Initial Coin Offerings), verkoop, <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2021\/07\/11\/bitcoin-mining-exodus-from-china-new-countries-to-migrate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">crypto-mining<\/a>, elke vorm van handel (futures of derivaten), en zelfs informatie- en prijsservices. Er moet echter worden opgemerkt dat <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2020\/10\/17\/boom-bust-icos-lot-of-money\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ICO&#039;s<\/a> en crypto-uitwisselingen zijn sinds 2017 effectief verboden in China. Dat is de reden waarom de Chinese handelaren zich, althans vanaf 2018, ontwikkelden <a href=\"https:\/\/qz.com\/1265459\/why-chinas-crypto-traders-call-bitcoin-big-pancake-and-other-secrets-of-local-slang\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">een speciaal jargon<\/a> voor P2P-handel in sociale media en instant messaging-apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Twitter springt in Bitcoin<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In tegenstelling tot China heeft Twitter besloten om Bitcoin volledig te gebruiken voor zijn tipfunctie<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.twitter.com\/en_us\/topics\/product\/2021\/bringing-tips-to-everyone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Op deze manier<\/a>, kan iedereen met een persoonlijk account binnen deze sociale media &quot;Tips&quot; op zijn profiel inschakelen. Door dit te doen, kunnen ze tips ontvangen voor hun inhoud of goed doel via services zoals Bandcamp, Cash App, Chipper, Patreon, Venmo, GoFundMe en natuurlijk <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2020\/08\/20\/how-buy-bitcoin-simple-steps-nice-recipe\/\">Bitcoin (BTC)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De betalingen met BTC komen echter nog maar amper op gang. <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2021\/04\/11\/what-are-non-fungible-tokens-nfts-why-fever-ultimate-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">en NFT&#039;s<\/a> integratie is in de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/tech\/2021\/09\/23\/twitter-to-add-bitcoin-lightning-tips-nft-authentication\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">planningsfase<\/a>.
