Dit land is waarschijnlijk vanaf het begin een epicentrum geweest voor de cryptocurrency-wereld. Na het volledige cryptoverbod door China in 2021 is dat echter nog meer toegenomen. En dat is misschien de reden waarom de wetgevers en autoriteiten van de Verenigde Staten streven naar strengere crypto-regelgeving in 2022, vanaf februari.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volgens een recent rapport van Bloomberg<\/a>, bereidt het Witte Huis zelf een uitvoerend bevel over het onderwerp voor. Het zal een \u201ciniti\u00eble overheidsbrede strategie\u201d zijn om meer specifieke regelgeving toe te passen op de activiteiten met cryptocurrencies. Blijkbaar omvat het ontwerp economische, regelgevende en nationale veiligheidsuitdagingen<\/a> gesteld door cryptocurrencies, en zou de komende maanden om rapporten van verschillende instanties vragen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Ripple-XRP-rechtszaak-geweigerd\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Het Amerikaanse ministerie van Financi\u00ebn en de Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) zouden ook op zoek zijn naar meer macht om cryptocurrencies te controleren. Zoals aangegeven in een onderzoek door Coin Center, zal het binnenkort te verschijnen wetsvoorstel "America COMPETES Act of 2022" meer macht geven aan de Schatkist om transacties en financi\u00eble bedrijven te verbieden zonder overleg<\/strong>. Tenminste, als er "redelijke gronden" zijn om die operaties en bedrijven te koppelen aan: geld witwassen<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit wetsvoorstel moet nog door het Congres worden aangenomen. De SEC van haar kant pretendeert een meer subtiele strategie<\/a>: de wettelijke definitie van "uitwisseling" wijzigen om de regels "alternatieve handelsmethoden", zoals gedecentraliseerde financiering (DeFi<\/a>) platformen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Positievere crypto-regelgeving <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Niet alles is slecht nieuws. Het voorstel van de SEC heeft nog 30 dagen om opmerkingen en wijzigingen te ontvangen. Verder is er een voorstel om Bitcoin (BTC<\/a>) wettig betaalmiddel in Arizona<\/strong>. Het is gepromoot<\/a> door de senator voor de staat Arizona, Wendy Rogers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Als Bitcoin slaagt als wettig betaalmiddel<\/a> (zoals het al gebeurde in El Salvador), zou het bijna overal verplicht zijn om het te accepteren, van handelaren tot belastingen. De huidige Amerikaanse grondwet staat individuele staten echter niet toe om hun eigen wettig betaalmiddel te kiezen. Het wetsvoorstel zou door het congres moeten worden goedgekeurd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"USA-top-crypto-gebruikers\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In de tussentijd is Arizona nog steeds een cryptovriendelijke jurisdictie<\/strong>. De staat heeft er zelfs een wettelijke bepalingen<\/a> om crypto-investeerders en miners te beschermen. Ze hebben ook hun eigen commissie<\/a> om toezicht te houden op blockchain en cryptocurrencies sinds 2021 en te cre\u00ebren zandbakken<\/a> voor Fintech-bedrijven. Daarnaast, zij moedigen aan<\/a> verschillende grote bitcoin-mijnwerkers en -bedrijven, vooral na de enorme uittocht van mijnwerkers uit China afgelopen jaar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
