Em torno dessas datas, exatamente, Bitcoin ultrapassou o esperado All-Time-High (ATH) com um pre\u00e7o acima de $20.000 e uma capitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de mercado em torno de $334B. Agora, estamos vendo um novo recorde: $20.836 por unidade de acordo com CoinMarketCap, e $20.815 por unidade registrada por CoinGecko.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al\u00e9m disso, a capitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o de mercado tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 maior, com mais de $384B. Isso provavelmente se deve aos investidores institucionais que apostaram no Bitcoin este ano. Talvez o maior deles seja o fundo de hedge em tons de cinza<\/a>, que possui mais de 500.000 BTC. Ap\u00f3s este novo Bitcoin ATH, eles s\u00e3o equivalentes a $10.4B e quase 3% do fornecimento total de Bitcoin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O recente Ado\u00e7\u00e3o do PayPal<\/a> tamb\u00e9m contribuiu, e o bilion\u00e1rio gestor de fundos brit\u00e2nico Ruffer tamb\u00e9m saltou para a criptomoeda, pouco antes do novo Bitcoin ATH. De acordo com um an\u00fancio recente<\/a>, eles compraram cerca de $744M na BTC, o equivalente a 2,5% de seu portf\u00f3lio. Para isso, a empresa reduziu sua exposi\u00e7\u00e3o ao ouro, e isso foi feito como um \u201cmovimento defensivo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Algumas pistas apontam para outros investidores fazendo a mesma coisa: trocar ouro por Bitcoin como reserva de valor<\/strong>. Conforme indicado pelo Commerzbank alem\u00e3o<\/a>, os investidores est\u00e3o se afastando dos ETFs de ouro, resultando em uma queda de 1% deles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enquanto isso, o banco de investimento multinacional JPMorgan Chase considera que Bitcoin pode competir<\/a> \u201cMais intensamente\u201d com ouro no futuro pr\u00f3ximo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
