Bitcoin e criptomoedas s\u00e3o mais comuns em todo o mundo a cada dia. Como tal, os reguladores de todos os lugares est\u00e3o prestando mais aten\u00e7\u00e3o, especialmente \u00e0s regras de combate \u00e0 lavagem de dinheiro (AML). Esse agora \u00e9 o caso da Irlanda, cujos reguladores decidiram incluir ativos criptogr\u00e1ficos em seus pr\u00f3ximos regulamentos AML.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De acordo com um relat\u00f3rio recente<\/a> pela m\u00eddia local, os Provedores de Servi\u00e7os de Ativos Virtuais (VASPs) ser\u00e3o obrigados a se registrar no Banco Central da Irlanda <\/strong>come\u00e7ando em abril de 2021. Esses VASPs incluem criptotrocas, cripto-ATMs, provedores de cust\u00f3dia e balc\u00f5es de balc\u00e3o (OTC). A medida vem tamb\u00e9m para cumprir a \u00faltima Diretiva de LBC da Uni\u00e3o Europeia. O prazo compat\u00edvel<\/a> para os estados membros (como a Irlanda) \u00e9 em junho de 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a\u00e7\u00f5es de coa\u00e7\u00e3o para pessoas coletivas (isto \u00e9, empresas) que infringem as regras incluem a exclus\u00e3o de benef\u00edcios p\u00fablicos (como financiamento), a desqualifica\u00e7\u00e3o para a pr\u00e1tica de atividades comerciais e o fechamento total de seus escrit\u00f3rios. Al\u00e9m disso, a pena m\u00ednima de pris\u00e3o para os infratores foi aumentada para quatro anos.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
