Ainda assim, n\u00e3o parece muito contaminante, certo? Bem, o problema \u00e9 esse enigma. Ningu\u00e9m pode realmente resolv\u00ea-lo na velocidade necess\u00e1ria para competir. Apenas os computadores e alguns dispositivos especializados (<a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2020\/11\/21\/easy-crypto-miners-how-mine-cryptocurrencies-problems\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mineiros ASIC<\/a>) pode fazer isso. De acordo com o consumo de eletricidade Cambridge Bitcoin (<a href=\"https:\/\/cbeci.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">CBEI<\/a>), Bitcoin consome cerca de 148 TWh anualmente, o que \u00e9 mais do que a Su\u00e9cia, a Ucr\u00e2nia ou a Holanda. Por sua vez, <a href=\"https:\/\/digiconomist.net\/bitcoin-energy-consumption\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Digiconomista<\/a> calcula um valor em torno de 117 TWh anualmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ao mesmo tempo, conforme descrito pelo CBEI, <strong>Bitcoin representa apenas 0,69% do consumo total de energia em todo o mundo.<\/strong> Al\u00e9m disso, \u201ca quantidade de eletricidade consumida todos os anos por dispositivos dom\u00e9sticos sempre ligados, mas inativos, s\u00f3 nos EUA poderia alimentar a rede Bitcoin por 1,5 anos\u201d. A firma <a href=\"https:\/\/coinshares.com\/assets\/resources\/Research\/bitcoin-mining-network-june-2019-fidelity-foreword.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">CoinShares<\/a> calculou que&nbsp;<strong>mais de 74% de minera\u00e7\u00e3o Bitcoin usa fontes de energia renov\u00e1veis, como hidrel\u00e9trica, solar e geot\u00e9rmica<\/strong>. Por outro lado, o CBEI afirma que 65% de minera\u00e7\u00e3o Bitcoin est\u00e1 sendo fabricado na China. Neste pa\u00eds, o carv\u00e3o foi respons\u00e1vel por 56,8% da gera\u00e7\u00e3o de energia dom\u00e9stica em 2020 [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/04\/29\/climate-china-has-no-other-choice-but-to-rely-on-coal-power-for-now.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">CNBC<\/a>] E isso \u00e9 uma m\u00e1 not\u00edcia para criptomoedas e polui\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No entanto, existem teorias alternativas.
