This could imply some drastic changes on the social media platform, and also the inclusion of more cryptocurrencies and blockchain functions. Musk is known to be an ally in the cryptocurrency world and a frequent promoter of Dogecoin (DOGE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/technology\/crypto-exchange-binance-musks-co-investor-help-twitter-with-blockchain-2022-10-28\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Reuters report<\/a>, <strong>Binance also participated in this purchase with at least $500 million.<\/strong> That undoubtedly involves the cryptocurrency world, since Binance is still the biggest crypto exchange worldwide. Speculations about crypto payments arriving on Twitter soon are on the table, but, for now, Musk and the Binance team seem more worried about the bots <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/ro\/2021\/09\/21\/ceas-e-mail-elon-musk-club-furt-criptos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">and spam<\/a> that massively hit this platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indeed, last May, <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/ro\/2022\/05\/17\/elon-musk-pauses-offer-twitter-why-could-matter-crypto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Musk paused<\/a> his buyout offer after discussing the real number of accounts on Twitter \u2014without the non-human or fraudulent users (bots, scams, or fake accounts). Parag Agrawal (former Twitter CEO) calculated 5% of fake accounts, while Musk insisted on over 20%. The recent purchase doesn\u2019t mean that the issue is solved, though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Entering Twitter HQ \u2013 let that sink in! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/D68z4K2wq7\">pic.twitter.com\/D68z4K2wq7<\/a><\/p>- Elon Musk (@elonmusk) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1585341984679469056?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 26, 2022<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, everything indicates that Musk will be working with the <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/ro\/2022\/09\/07\/binance-delists-several-stablecoins-what-do-about-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Binance team<\/a> <strong>to figure this out using blockchain technology.<\/strong> However, the specific way to do it is yet to be announced. <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptobriefing.com\/elon-musk-now-owns-twitter-what-does-that-mean-for-crypto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">They could<\/a> make the Twitter anti-bot algorithm open source, and\/or add an extra paid service to verify accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the meantime, Elon Musk <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/technology-63402338\">fired<\/a> four top Twitter executives (including Agrawal), and the platform is testing the trading of Non-Fungible Tokens (<a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/ro\/2021\/04\/11\/ce-sunt-jetoane-non-fungibile-nfts-de-ce-febra-ultim-ghid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NFT-uri<\/a>) through tweets. The new function, dubbed <a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/113007\/twitter-buy-sell-nfts-tweets-magic-eden-dapper-rarible\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">NFT Tweet Tiles<\/a>, can display the artwork in a dedicated panel on a tweet and redirect to several NFT marketplaces. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Dogecoin also comes with Twitter and Elon<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s widely known that <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/ro\/2020\/09\/18\/little-story-dogecoin-shiba-inus-cryptocurrency\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dogecoin<\/a> (DOGE) is Elon\u2019s favorite cryptocurrency. Several times in the past we\u2019ve seen the price of this memecoin go up only after a favorable tweet about it by the billionaire. It seems to be the case now, again, even if Musk hasn\u2019t said anything about it this time. After the announcement (\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1585841080431321088\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The bird is freed<\/a>\u201d) yesterday, <strong>DOGE increased by over 17% [CMC].<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dogecoin users are expecting Elon to include this coin as a payment method on Twitter, after all. But, apart from that, Musk also launched recently a new perfume, dubbed \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/zycrypto.com\/dogecoin-accepted-for-elon-musks-new-perfume-burnt-hair\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Burnt Hair<\/a>\u201d. DOGE is available as a payment method for that, at least. In addition, last September, <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/ro\/2022\/07\/22\/tesla-sold-whales-on-move-bitcoin-resists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tesla<\/a> released a collectible inspired by its CyberTruck, named \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/shop.tesla.com\/product\/cyberwhistle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Cyberwhistle<\/a>\u201d.
