Tekniskt sett hade vi redan Brexit i januari f\u00f6rra \u00e5ret. Det finns dock f\u00f6r n\u00e4rvarande (och fram till slutet av december) en "anpassningsperiod" f\u00f6r medborgarna och f\u00f6retagen, d\u00e4r regeringen arbetar med sina lagar och f\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden med Europeiska unionen f\u00f6r framtiden. Och en av de saker de f\u00f6rbereder \u00e4r nya regler f\u00f6r stablecoins och Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enligt en nytt tillk\u00e4nnagivande<\/a> by Her Majesty’s Treasury (HM Treasury), the UK is planning to remain as \u201can open, attractive international financial centre\u201d, and for that, de kommer att leverera nya \u00e5tg\u00e4rder avseende ny finansiell teknik, s\u00e5som stallmynt och CBDC.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dessutom ser de fram emot att locka nya utl\u00e4ndska investerare och fintechf\u00f6retag till landet genom att tillhandah\u00e5lla tydliga och v\u00e4nliga regler<\/a>. Rishi Sunak, kansler f\u00f6r HM Treasury, kommenterade det:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201dVi startar ett nytt kapitel i historien om finansiella tj\u00e4nster och f\u00f6rnyar Storbritanniens position som v\u00e4rldens fr\u00e4msta finanscentrum. Genom att fatta s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga likv\u00e4rdighetsbeslut som vi kan i avsaknad av tydlighet fr\u00e5n EU g\u00f6r vi det som \u00e4r r\u00e4tt f\u00f6r Storbritannien och ger f\u00f6retag s\u00e4kerhet och stabilitet.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Det s\u00e4gs att de nya \u00e5tg\u00e4rderna kan p\u00e5verka f\u00f6retag, banker, byggf\u00f6retag, kapitalf\u00f6rvaltare och livf\u00f6rs\u00e4kringsbolag<\/strong>. Ut\u00f6ver det finansiella kommer Storbritannien ocks\u00e5 att skapa den f\u00f6rsta arbetsgruppen f\u00f6r klimatrelaterade finansiella upplysningar (TCFD) f\u00f6r att uppfylla milj\u00f6m\u00e5len, vilka \u00e5tg\u00e4rder kommer att b\u00f6rja vara aktiva 2023. F\u00f6rmodligen inneb\u00e4r detta att \u00e5tg\u00e4rderna om samma \u00e5r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e5 de nya f\u00f6rordningarna kan komma med n\u00e5gra nya f\u00f6rbud f\u00f6r de mer riskfyllda verktygen inom CBDC och stallmynt, ocks\u00e5 mycket relaterade till det mycket riskabla DeFi-applikationer<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
