But that doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s always the most convenient or trustable for everyone. The company has presented varied issues in the past, mostly out of their control, but now they\u2019re making a controversial decision just because they want to: <strong>delist USD Coin (USDC), Paxos Dollar (USDP), and True USD (TUSD) to enforce the adoption of their own stablecoin<\/strong>, Binance USD (BUSD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting 29 September 2022, the Binance users with these coins in the platform will pass through an \u201cAuto-conversion\u201d feature \u2014 whether they want it or not. They didn\u2019t give any other details about the reason, but <strong>users are considering this as a forced adoption of BUSD and a flagrant attack on USDC<\/strong>, especially. The latter is the second largest stablecoin by market cap, after all, and that makes it a strong competitor for BUSD, which is still under those numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I\u2019m seeing a lot of people trying to put a positive spin on Binance\u2019s forced conversions of USDC to BUSD. You can say it\u2019s good UX for USDC users, but that\u2019s neither here nor there. In this country, the citizens must declare every cryptocurrency sale \u2014and exchanging one coin for another could count as it. <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/zh\/2021\/02\/10\/%e6%8e%92%e5%90%8d%e5%89%8d5%e4%bd%8d%e7%9a%84%e5%8a%a0%e5%af%86%e8%b4%a7%e5%b8%81%e5%8f%8b%e5%a5%bd%e5%9b%bd%e5%ae%b6-%e5%9c%b0%e5%8c%ba%e7%a8%8e\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u5176\u4ed6\u56fd\u5bb6<\/a> may be affected in similar ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What to do without stablecoins on Binance?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Apparently, Tether (USDT), the <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/zh\/2022\/01\/23\/5-%e6%9c%80%e6%b5%81%e8%a1%8c%e7%9a%84%e7%a8%b3%e5%ae%9a%e5%b8%81-%e5%ae%83%e4%bb%ac%e7%9a%84%e5%8c%ba%e5%88%ab\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">biggest stablecoin<\/a> by market cap, will stay on the platform (for now). But let\u2019s not forget that \u201cBinance may amend the list of stablecoins eligible for auto-conversion.\u201d In any case, this is another harsh reminder of an essential mantra in the crypto world: Not your keys?
