However, this isn\u2019t the worst month for the cryptocurrency market, either. Let\u2019s take an overview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u5728\u5e02\u573a\u4e0a<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2020\/08\/20\/how-buy-bitcoin-simple-steps-nice-recipe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bitcoin<\/a> (BTC) almost ended the month in red, <strong>but it had an increase of over 13% at the last minute. <\/strong>The reason behind this behavior (bearish and later bullish) is probably the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In the beginning, the investors seemed to prefer gold to keep their reserves, but now the citizens in both of these countries have problems handling their fiat money. That\u2019s why they\u2019d be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbtc.com\/news\/bitcoin\/bitcoin-in-demand-bulls-enjoy-9-surge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">buying more<\/a> Bitcoin and cryptos now \u2014therefore, increasing the price.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ethereum (ETH) was also a last-minute case, increasing by over 7%. <\/strong>\u5728 - \u7684\u91cc\u9762 <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2020\/12\/09\/what-are-smart-contracts-what-they-for\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u667a\u80fd\u5408\u7ea6<\/a> field, Solana (SOL) didn\u2019t have the same luck, decreasing by over 7% during last month. However, there\u2019s no evidence of malicious intent from this brand against <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2021\/03\/29\/discover-monero-how-use-it-full-privacy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u95e8\u7f57<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>There\u2019s good news for XRP and Ripple.<\/strong> SEC\u2019s motion against Ripple\u2019s defense strategy <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/how-secs-motion-against-ripples-fair-notice-defense-was-turned-down\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">was denied<\/a> by the court, which significantly increased the XRP price (by over 27%). However, for now, the lawmakers <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DrStefanBerger\/status\/1497151798355898368\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">reconsidered<\/a> and are looking for other ways to deal with the <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2021\/05\/16\/faq-cryptocurrencies-pollution-climate-change\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">potential environmental impact<\/a>. To summarize: crypto payments are banned, but the citizens can still buy, hold, and sell cryptos as an investment tool after being properly identified by a national bank. It\u2019s now considered <a href=\"https:\/\/defiyield.app\/rekt-database\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">the second-largest<\/a> DeFi hack after <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2021\/08\/11\/greatest-defi-hack-history-poly-begs-hacker-returns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u4fdd\u5229\u7f51\u7edc<\/a>. Apart from this one, another 19 DeFi protocols on Ethereum, Solana, BSC, and Polygon were hacked or made exit scams as well during February.<br><\/li><li><strong>OpenSea users suffered a large phishing attack through emails<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/coincodecap.com\/opensea-investigating-exploit-rumors-as-users-complain-of-missing-nfts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u9a97\u5b50<\/a> sent them information about a fake contract migration to drain their wallets and NFTs. It\u2019s believed that over $3 million in ETH and collectibles have been stolen this way.<br><\/li><li>In some good news, the Great Manchester Police (U.K.) seized $22.25 million in ETH from a <a href=\"https:\/\/alfacash.blog\/2022\/02\/19\/5-crypto-scams-looking-victims-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u52a0\u5bc6\u8d27\u5e01\u9a97\u5c40<\/a>, <strong>and they gave back $5 million to the victims already. <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/decrypt.co\/93507\/uk-police-return-over-5-million-to-victims-of-international-crypto-scam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">They\u2019re investigating<\/a> other 127 victim claims in several countries to return the rest of the money. \u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u5176\u4ed6\u65b0\u95fb<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To help them in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elliptic.co\/blog\/live-updates-millions-in-crypto-crowdfunded-for-the-ukrainian-military\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">current war<\/a>, <strong>Ukraine has received almost $23 million in cryptocurrency donations so far<\/strong>. That makes it the first nation in history to fund the war using crypto. Currently, the electronic transfers and cards <a href=\"https:\/\/thepaypers.com\/online-payments\/central-bank-of-ukraine-suspends-electronic-cash-transfers--1254827\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">don\u2019t work<\/a> in Ukraine; while Russia <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/business-60521822\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">was cut off<\/a> from SWIFT international payments.
